You are really amazing me. You're conveniently dissociate yourself, I see. But it does not work like that. The way it works is that the minute they hear you talk, your 20 year old Volvos are just as White. Why? Because you are foreign and a threat to their livelihood. They don't give a Sheise about your ethics and business accomplishments...as a matter of fact they want nobody else but you to be the guy with the foot on a dash.
I think I'll put you on ignore...as you are disappointing me.

 

Are you drinking or something? How am I conveniently dissociate from them? A lot of those people are my friends. That does not mean I can't make fun of "white Volvo" stigma and reputation that follows it.

I am a Pole living in Arlington Heights, IL who owns a White Volvo and is often mistaken for a Russian by accent and perhaps facial characteristics. I guess I could not be more defined as White Volvo as anybody else. You might say I am from Eastern Block too although about that I beg to differ. Anyway, nowhere else did I find out about White Volvo term but this forum. ####e I heard about is unbelievable...so I wonder how come nobody ever came up to me and said anything in real life instead everyone is bowing to me and I bow back to them and exchange pleasantries. I mean this absurd is propagated on this forum and by cretins who are full of Sheis wanting to stir up ferment out of boredom. So what that a bridge cracked down under a White volvo or a punk drives with a leg on a dash? Is it any less unsettling from a hippo with his belly spread on the steering wheel or a tough guy with a shotgun under the seat?

Yes, I own 20 years Volvo's and I am from Eastern Europe. Does not mean I have to act and do things exactly like everyone else does.
You know, not all people from Somali are pirates, not all people from China practice Kung-## and not all people from Eastern Euro put their flip flops on the dashboard?

 

They don't care. You are helping them out to hate you...especially those underachieving, envious steering wheel holders. They will claim all your success and accomplishments is about fraud.
I mean there is a room for satire, and self laugh and I like to do it too but not in the thread like this. An intentional thread of hate.

 

I am sorry. I might be too sensitive but I do care about my image of an immigrant pursuing a dream and would not want to do anything unlawful or detrimental to the good of this country that welcomed me and embraced me.
I won't stand, however, for any insinuations or accusations that I am someone belonging to a lesser sort of category of citizens. I just hate those leaving thrash on WM parking lots, throwing ou the window pee bottles, parking their trucks wherever the please, behaving arrogantly at customer sites, as anybody else.
Threads like this just feed lunatics. I am afraid that one day there's going to be a confrontation over this and really unnecessary, irreparable damage. I heard already more than once the phrase "Get the f...from my country"

I see where you are coming from, but Americans don't hate anybody, they just hate how some people conduct their business. If you lived in Poland, where an immigrant group had a large influence on your work industry, you wouldn't be happy also. Especially if that influence was not ethical.
The Euros do things they way they do, because of the crazy 90's, when everyone's life got destroyed and turned upside down. People learned that to survive you gotta do a lot of unethical things. When they came here, they brought that mentality with them.
Eventually, after living here, everybody becomes Americanized and adopts the rules of society. It happened with Italians, Irish and whoever else before and will happen with Eastern Euros.

 

Funny how your posts are littered with this word, yet you complain about "they" being the problem. You say no matter what you do, or how you conduct yourself, "they" will still hate you as soon as "they" hear your accent. Maybe quit playing the victim. There's ######## out there, but 99% of this is in your head.
