Hello everyone,
On 2007 Volvo with D16D I have a turbo speed sensor electrical fault that I cannot shake off, hoping maybe if someone had experienced same issue and will share how it was resolved. When the code first popped up Mid 128 Pid 103 Fmi 9. I replaced the turbo speed sensor but the coded is still active. The funny thing is with the key on and the engine not running is still active. I clear the code as soon as I start moving it comes back. On idle with the engine running I checked voltage from harness coming from ecm and it was 10.3 volts. I checked the harness from the speed sensor and it was reading. I’m a bit confused because it seems the new sensor is good and there’s no breakage in the wire coming from ecm, what could it be? By the way the truck is running and pulling fine. Temperature gauge is reading a lil bit warmer than before and the fuel mileage has dropped from about 6.5 average to 6.0. Any clues on what could be wrong? Thanks in advance!

The turbo is about 5 years old. Even though I’m getting the turbo speed sensor fault code there is no change in the turbo Performance.
