    ToHell and Back, Getting paid under the table means you work "secretly". You risk getting caught, of course. The employer doesn't want to list you or anyone as an employee. Hence, cash under the table. As if you never worked there. Me, personally, I would do it. The chances of an accident etc are remote. And sitting home getting paid nothing VS making cash money makes no sense to me.
