Central Refrigerated Truck Stop

Gravy from scratch is a bit tricky but I had the best teacher in the world! My dad! Mama is a great cook but daddy took the metal for best gravy! And yes my sides do hurt but not from laughing I promise you that.

Ok time to see if I can make it to the bus stop with out getting sick everywhere be back in a little while.

 

The squeaky wheel really does get the grease as long as you don't tell them to pull their head out of their ... more than 3 or 4 times. Got a load, and oh my, what a load it is. The good thing is, its a 2016 mile load. Bad things are
1) a 24 hr loading window which is not bad for Cargill.
2) its a multidrop load. I've sure been getting a buttload of them lately. Wonder if they save those for their "experienced" drivers cause I sure didn't get many my 1st yr. Now I seem to get them about every 2 loads.
3) New Jersey, NJ, North Haven, Ct, and Boston. I hate NJ!!! Don't think I've ever made it the NJ without getting lost at least once. Heck- -I even get lost on a map there!!! Never been to Boston (as a driver) so that ought to be an experience. Do remember going to see ZZ Top and Loverboy once while tripping on.....well that ought to be a different story. hehehe
It is 2000 + miles tho.

 

See sometimes favors do pay off. 1bad is on his way his way to Boston now. He said you would be better off putting your cargo on a plane and flying it in........lololol
He is in NY still right now sitting dead still on 95 due to the World Series, a presidential motorcade, and it's raining like crazy. He didn't get his trip pack to a truck stop in time so no pay check next week at all. This is not good.

 

HA Loverboy huh? Yeah, conley is scary in the daytime, I would hate to try and sleep there at night. Apparently they figured no one wants to sleep there at night. I guess its only for locals? The skid pad is sorry and the building smells kinda funny anyhow. Well, gotta go make country fried steak,taters and green beans with the little lady. Ya'll got me craving it all day.

Wow.. So conley is really that bad? I'm apparently based outta there but all but my dm is from wvc.. Payroll, safety, o/o rep.. Heck.. I can be home in ar and need to go do something at a termin and gary will route me to henderson or wvc..

Well I finished out my freakin best week in awhile.. Around 3k on the clock.. Could add 700 more miles to it.. But I'm saving that trip pac for next weeks check as I'm going home tom and not commin back till the 3rd..

Does anyone know how central is for getting you home on holidays.. As I cannot miss my thanksgiving ir christmas.. I can't and will not miss them.. Its the only time I get to see my family.

 

Whewwwheee!! Im so full of country fried goodness that I cant hardly drink my Highlife!! The secret to good gravy is sausage fat, plain and simple and I like to use leftover coffee and make redeye gravy. Probably the only reason Im not asleep right now! Well this is the last night for me and the ol lady to tie a few on and have a hoot. Tommorrow time to clean up and try to not look like a drunk on my pee pee test.
Sounds like everyone is having a pretty good week, aside from 1bad stuck in NYC. I cant wait to get out there. Keep on raising hell on wheels and knock the slack right on out!

Yep, conley sucks man. I gotta stupid question, what does wvc stand for? I thought west virginia but apparently its in reference to utah?
