What’s 100k of cargo insurance cost...?

    Always hauled asphalt and dirt, never carried cargo insurance. I always figured I’d just buy the load if I had a problem.....

    So round numbers what’s 100k of cargo with a 5k or so deductible go for....? General type freight. Clean loss run with everything else as far back as they want to go........

    When I get with the program I’ll call my agent . But I’m just looking at options.....

    $1000-1200 with $1000 deductible... with 5K deductible it should be less but 5K might be too high for some brokers.

    I pay $3300 a year for 100K coverage on my two for hire trucks. $1000 deductible.
