The terminal is in West Valley City ie WVC not Salt Lake City SLC. If you don't know it is never a silly question. Just remember that.

Grrrrr and grumble, grumble. Bunk htr not working. Closest thermoking is in Amarillo. Guess I get to spend the day huddled under the blankets, rewatching all my dvds again or reading a book. Not going back to the Shell again since I woke up with a hangover this morning. I'm such a baaaaaaaaaaaaad boy. lol

I was raceing to Groveport OH when I ran into the JJ crew.
It was too bad we were on one of the worse fuel islands in Pilot history, and we were both in a hurry.
That and I was looking like hell, sleeping in receivers lots for 2 nights did nothing for me.
Maybe we will cross paths again before you go active duty.
I am back in Buffalo now, Sears load in a wonderful part of town (sarcasm intended)
I felt bad after I left though, I did not ask which way you were headed. We could have run a ways together and BSed. Was a boring ride.
This week was pretty slow. Talking to guys in Columbus it sounded like I was not the only one that saw it though. not even 1900 miles on the week. I asked if he could find me one to get me home in the morning, so I could get paid for part of the way.
Otherwise I will ride down without mileage in the morning and take a long break.
Looks like Central still has plenty of students flooding them.
It is good for them I guess, and good for new people that want into the industry.
I just wish all the company's with schools could take a year break on training. So everyone could make a little more. Way too many trucks on the road for the freight.
On the WVC food thing.
There is a chain mexican place right up the street. But the best burrito I have ever had was bought in there parking lot. A mexican guy and his wife come in every night around 8 or 9.
They have a roach coach in the lot.
Really good food and good prices.
Also during the day the Central Cafe has decent food. I miss having a restrant in terminals. Much better than ordering chinese and pizza all the time.___realgonekatt Thanks this. -
how ya doing so far?
-
what do you consider walking distance.... lol cause i know town opens up, at 26-3300 south, cause wallys is at 5600 and 3350 ....

Man.. I'm at six months on my own now.. And I was amazed at the amount of people I've met in the last two week.. A lot of them are nice.. Some I say from talking to.. Shouldn't be out here with the mentality they have.. I think they are the reason I paid 240 for a just in case u abandon our truck fund...
Its also getting harder to get home.. After our guaranteed home time pay.. It takes em a week to get me home after my request has been in for a total of 4 weeks.. Bah. Atleast I'm home now and I'm going to sleep. Nite all.. Stay safe!! -
Question: Do they hire out of Jersey? I'm looking to get back in the game around summertime. Just researching b4 so I know where i'm goin for sure when it's time.
