I just purchased a new general lee it was just the radio no box the man told me that it was an import general lee? That the American ones have a smaller flag and run less watts and these are made for outside the country and so they have more power how true is all of this its my first big radio so i know nothing about them... i paid 400 for it and he made the channel light red and the meter light red as well as put red leds behind the knobs giving a halo effect and he tuned it i think he said it was doing 70-80 watts. Just trying to see if i got screwed on price and if he took advantage of my ignorance to this stuff

100 watts out of the box.. before any tuning.... $300 -

Walcott radio has your radio with the standard lights turned for $255....
Don't know about the important v export thing... yes the FACTORY power setting may be different BUT unless the chip set is different they both can be turned up to the same, my factory cobra 29 was 5watt out of the box (usa required max) with out changing any parts it is tuned and now puts out 25watts -
Get the General Lee !
Not everyone knows that their the best.
Their not gaudy looking with all of the lot lizard lights.
So they don’t attract unwanted attention. -
