No, XPO run’s a single seniority board, and a flex board. Your hire date is your seniority date, for bidding purposes, you will go to flex, when you first hire on.
At ABF your hire date is your seniority date for vacation and raises. Depending on if you hired for city or road board you will be placed at the bottom of the respective board.
If I am hired for the road board and it is a 10 man board and I stay on that board for a period of time and move to 5 of 10 in seniority, but decide to move to the city board cause I’m tired of driving all the time, I would move to the bottom of the city board. I would not move to position 5 on the city board.
At XPO you would not have that issue, you can move from linehaul to city with out losing your seniority for bidding purposes.hotrod1653, Texas_hwy_287, MACK E-6 and 3 others Thank this. -

No worries about getting bumped with lifetime bids.
LTL Bull Thanks this. -
For me training consisted of days of intense computer training, 2 weeks of dock training, double set ups, etc then we were put on City P&D even though we were hired for line haul. The rest of what HiramKingWilliams was applicable at my location. Definitely much more dock work than driving.
