I’ve applied to scores of jobs including all the ones I’m not qualified for yet. I’ve had an interview with Keurig Dr Pepper, CARMAX, and I’ve turned down several crappy paying jobs already. Tomorrow I have a zoom interview with Pepsi. I know these local jobs are very labor intensive. I’ve gone through the recruiting process at a company down here called Armellini. They are the largest wholesale distributor of flowers in the country. They do a team thing up the east coast as far west as maybe TN. 3/4 days out, 1-2 home. 6 trips a month. Road test is Friday. If I don’t get something where I’m home every night I’ll take this until I have more months.

I ended coming off the road for a medical issue 2 weeks ago. Nasty double eye infection that required serious treatment so that was a perfect time to call it quits with Prime. Good company. Needlessly long training program though. Like I said OTR wasn’t for me so it’s all good!!

I feel I could adapt to the labor of those soda and beer positions. But even after going through some interviews with the local ones here between 2015 and 2018, they looked at milk haulers as being "too easily daunted" by the task.
And that's why I'm probably destined to stick with anything tank if I keep getting that assumption fired at me.

    sventvkg Thanks this.
