One the windshield we have driver facing camera (off up unill Joplin has it turned on you sign paperwork when they do). Outward facing dash cam. Then the lane departure system which has two speakers on either side of the truck. Then a small black box beside the passenger door which is blind spot detection. The adaptive cruise/collision mitigation system is installed in the front bumper. This comes first hand to me from the Joplin shop when adjusting the dang things.

Rugerfan and Cerberus XVI Thank this.

They are so annoying too, I definitely don't miss any of that. Especially the forward collision. It Used to slam the brakes when we would go under bridges at night

Or day time or when a vehicle cuts across 3 lanes of traffic to take the exit or for whatever dadgum reason it thinks of.

Ridin with Dave! I watch his channel too, some times. Those 20min videos are too long lol. But yeah that's driver facing cam that you had marked. When I talked to safety they are fine with drivers covering it as long as it's not tape or anything to damage it. Wife and I used one of those big band aids. The cloth part would cover the lense and the adhesive was easy to get off when we left.

They claim they don't. But if you get called into safety for any reason they'll usually turn yours on and keep it on for a certain amount of time after a few months they will shut it off again. It's a way to keep drivers in check after a safety incident.
