Sitting at Bloomsburg PA TA.
7am delivery 9 miles away.
Booooored.
I hope they get me a reload fast, so I am not running nights all week again.

They're all so stuffed full of Halloween candy they can't sit still long enough to log on.

Ahhh, how I love the dinky Pilot in Bloomsbury and the slightly bigger TA next to it. Lucked out and a truck was pulling out of a good spot just as I came around the corner. Be nice if some of these trucks actually tried parking in the spots provided.

Decided to spend the night here where I got a shower. Will head on into NJ early in the morning.

 

Delivered Thursday in Shelbyville,IN had some problems with the truck, i needed a 34hr restart anyway, took truck to Volvo Saturday. they had to order parts. Should get fixed tomorrow.

I went to the casino and had dinner and played a little. Just FYI i will still be driving the truck, just my bad luck I guess.

 

Well I'm going on Day 6 with my trainer, currently sitting at his house as our load into San Diego doesn't deliver until tomorrow morning. So far we've made a trip to Denver and back. We're hoping for a good run back east somewhere after we deliver in San Diego. I heard my trainer say something about Illinois but I'm not sure if that's where we are going next or not.

Bootlegger, last time I saw you in Fontana you were starting your third week with your trainer. I'm glad to hear you are upgrading. Iceman and the rest of our guys are all doing good and I talked to Pismo last night, he was sitting in Fontana waiting for his trainer to come back to pick him up to start another run.

I'm gonna be teaming with a guy from my class and I'm excited to get through training and reunite with him and start running.

bgdaddy, I went through Barstow yesterday afternoon and took a shower at the TA on the west side of town. I'll be at the Fontana yard tomorrow morning about 5am. I think Pismo is still there at the EconoLodge, you might PM him if you are staying there. Good luck with school.

That feels like so long ago. Should have been here a few days ago, but got held up a bit by a mistake at a shipper and the weather in Wyoming. As I think about it the delay at the shipper probably saved us more problems in Wyoming.
