Hey guys need some info here. I got a 03 pete 379 and my dash gauges are froze up not working. It never done this before until tonight. I'm in some really heavy rain and storms tonight. My tach is stuck @ 1400rpms and my mph is 75. Both fuel and battery gauges are also froze up. I also noticed the diff light is lit up and the switch is off LOL. Is this just a short going on due to rain water leaking on something somewhere. Thanks

CK back of ing. switch, Look on the floor of truck to see if its wet, if so look at rubber seals for water running at bottom of windshields, CK where the wires go thew firewall to be sure waterproof seals are still inside all plugs that pass threw dash firewall?

Check your fuse box inside of it too for water. If you can reposition your truck to point the back of your cab into the rain and wind and try to shield the hood and all it's leaking...

Your battery cover on tight? Throw a trash bag over potential leaking slots in said battery cover with string until the storm passes.

If you are on a bad ECM, do not shut that engine off. Keep it going until you get it inside the shop. Ive had ECm's burn up before.

That is all I have for you today.

There is modul on frame. It has connector for CAN and Datalink wires, pressure sensors, If it fails - dashboard wont working

If they are stuck at full send(all the way to the right) the signal wire is probably grounding out somewhere.

That's how you test a gauge to see if its working, with the signal wire unhooked it should be full left, if you ground the signal wire it should go full right
