thx, but my wife and I talked yesterday (shoot, we talk several times a day) we (actually she decided, I dont like it one bit, but I know she's usually right) decided with the upcoming holidays and probable lack of freight that the families needs would be better met if I just stayed on the road till Turkey day so as to not have too much down time in November. I know she's right, but I am so tired of the road! I guess that will probably mean that I am stuck with Knight until after the holidays and after the worst part of winter is over too!
I am not a happy trucker right now!
Sort of ironic though, I begged to go home and I turned over 3100 miles last week! If I was begging for miles, there would probably be no freight!

Dave...nothing constructive to add here except wishing you the best.
My first grandchild was born Jan. 20th (before noon) and I got home the next day and had the honor of driving mama and baby home for the first time.
Three weeks in the truck is my limit, dollars be danged.
But again...pulling for you from this corner...good luck, man! -
dave, one of my real life friends did a cover for "dancing queen". if you want/need to laugh, this is the video to watch!

yeah, i know, it's unbelievable that i actually have friends.
-
oh I believe you have friends, it's just that you are the only one that can see them! I have a few friends like that too, but I quit listening to them cuz they always got me in trouble!
Seriously, I wish I had a real computer cuz my phone wont let me see any videos, I guess it doesnt have enough processor power!
Story of my life, everything I have is just too small or doesnt work too good! Just ask my wife, she'll gladly confirm that statement.

I understand. Get your laptop and a wireless card and start looking for jobs while out on the road. Explain that you are on the road now and are looking for someone that will treat you better.
We are going through the same thing. It is tough being away especially since I have been home for 2 years (working from home) So the wife and I did everything together and now I am out on the road. I had a Kamikaze deer attack the truck so I got home unexpectedly for a day and a half, but it is tough. We spoke about it again tonight.
Just found out we will be heading out tonight someplace, not sure where yet.
Good luck Dave, I do feel your pain. The only thing I can say is be happy you have a job, even a S####y job is better then no job, take it from me!
Take care, Larz -
honestly, it sounds like dispatch is trying to force you to quit
but unless you can land something with equal or better pay, you might as well bite the bullet and ride their bull dookie out until after the new year, bro
money dont buy happiness, but it sure improves it a bunch, especially around the holidays
sounds like your woman has a good head on her shoulders, so that has to be a big help to you. Just try to keep things out there on an even keel, and don't let them get you all worked up - no need to make the BP jump. Be safe out there, driver! -

I'm not judging man! Whatever you have to tell yourself to be able to look in the mirror, that's your story, you stick to it!
