WTF are you talking about??? Nice kneejerk reaction. Like I said in my post above. Why don't we wait to play the blame game until the facts come out. This was a very tragic event and blaming anyone at this point, other than the gunman is a little ridiculous.

 

Actually I read it earlier. It alo says that they were unable to prove that it was him that wrote the emails. I am not saying that what he did was right. He murdered a lot of great people today. All I am saying is people need to chill on all of the stupid rhetoric until we know the facts.

 

Not that we can assume all Muslims would react the same way as the Major...but let's reexamine the tenants of Islam here........

Also I heard Shepard Smith talking to a Col. Lee who served with the Major.....
The Major has a history of praising Islamic attacks and he also was quoted on several blogs praising Homicide bombers.......

We don't need to go on a witch hunt like FDR did with the Issei and the Nisei after Pearl harbor.....There are Muslims who are Patriotic and no doubt condemn the attacks.......
But we must do as Reagan did..."Trust but verify"........

I was wrong earlier that he had "converted" to Islam...he has always been Muslim...at least according to the most recent news reports.

As I said earlier, in order to get the whole story, the dust must settle, and ALL facts and information come out....in a day or two...if EVER.

Facts known so far
(1) He is not an Islamic convert, he was born into Islam
(2) Family is claiming he is a great America, and they can't believe he did this. He even hated going to the firing range. Then why did he have 2 browning 9mm 1 of which was automatic?
(3) He was transferred to Ft Hood around 6 months ago, following a negative OER.
(4) He has NOT been to Iraq OR Afghanistan this would have been his first deployment. Since finding out he was going to be deployed he has tried multiple methods to get out of going.
(5) He is known to have states the Muslim people must stand up against the aggressor in reference to the US and other troops.

Yea Islam is a religion of peace huh.

 

I followed this story today on CNN, not sure what the latest info is on this horror. I feel so bad for the familys of the wounded and the dead.

I know people will jump on my case for being racist for what I am about to say but I don't care. It has always bothered me that we let foreigners in our military. I know not every Muslim is a terrorist; but can I go to Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Malaysia or France and just join their army?

I think it's time we covered up the sign on the base of the Statue of Liberty. We don't need any more tired, poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free. As for the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed elsewhere! How about Belize I hear it's beautiful there and they speak English.

 

Our niece is AT Ft. Hood waiting to leave for Afg. She was supposed to be in the area of this mess today for immunizations but was instead sent to qualify on the range...got sharp shooter (WAY TO GO!) and called last night to let her mom and dad know she was ok. Her parents of course were worried sick not knowing and an hour in that situation seems like 2 days!!

I can NOT begin to post my feelings about this as I fear the men in black will visit me...seriously these idiots will NOT quit and they WALK AMONGST US!

My father was deployed out of Fort Hood to Vietnam. My sympathies and heart go out to the families of the victims of this senseless and brutal attack on our soldiers.
