I would try Ron J, I think that's his name in safety. And see if he can be of help or can put you in touch with the right person to talk to. I hope this helps, but I'm serious about switching recruiters, no reason she should make money off of you when she doesn't do ##### for you! I was tracking her down for almost 3 weeks while I was there, to be sure EVERYTHING was OK and ready to go, the last day before I went out with my trainer she said I had to have the Dr fax this form to her.

I don't mean to hijack your thread, Effinia. Jyne seems like a good recruiter. She called me back the same day I applied (Tuesday). I tried to call back the next day but I think she might have been out of the office. Anyway, good luck with the app Effinia.

I would look for a PDMD in your area at a local truck stop. (Professional Drivers Med Depot) They are small clinics located at many truck stops and specialize in driver health issues. We have one up in Knoxville and they are very knowlegeable about perscriptions and alternitives for a driver. Doctor John from PDMD is on the Dave Nemo show on XM171 once week taking calls, maybe you could call in on the day he is taking calls.........he now is working for the FMCSA as an advisor so he will have the answers. Take a look at dave nemo for the schedule and number.

I know I am probably going to get slammed for this. I don't mean this disrespectfully in any way. I understand you were in a horribly abusive marriage and I am very happy for you that you got out of it. I just want to point out what the company is more than likely looking at. You're not on the road now and you need medication to deal with stress, they think you will never make it on the road, which is way more stressful. Can you come off the meds or do you have to have them? If you can come off them, I would. Then go back to the company and reapply or whatever. -
As far as I can tell from reading at the FMCSA website, if your doctor says it will not effect your ability to drive, it is OK.

A stressed out, medicated truck driver is kind of scarey to me. You need to be absolutely 100% alert at all times. No offense.

You are looking to drive a 90,000 pound lethal weapon down the road and you need to take benzos cause of a marriage you are now NOT in.
Honey either grow up and put on your big girl panties and get off the drugs or find another line of work !! -
Glad to see another person who wants to throw cheap, brainless high-school insults. And on the first post at that!!! You'll fit in fine black dog. Do you enjoy politics?
road dust Thanks this.
