Yes, just check my post again, I recalculated. Just keep in mind this is all theoretical numbers, I don’t know how much their quote was.thankgod3030 Thanks this.

ok I will look into that and find a number

thank you, I find another job but I think he does 1099 also, are they considered plain out bad? Or are they okay if I keep track of my checks and calculate taxes myself? It just sucks since I feel like I have to start this way to get money to purchase my own truck and trailer. But I’m riding it out and saving all I can to have my own authority

Desperation seems to be too big a driving force in your decision making process. Slow down, pump the brakes, and take a few deep breathes. You are considering another possible 1099? Once was not enough for you? Wait for @Chinatown to drop by and give you a new path in your employment quest.
TequilaSunrise and thankgod3030 Thank this. -
Get a job with a W-2 company and start over.
Any particular reason why you went with that company vs. a W-2 company?thankgod3030 Thanks this. -
yeah because I figure it’s more money at the time and I need to get a truck and trailer. Let’s say with a W2 company I’m looking at 900 a week compared to $1300-1500 weekly? I’m not sure but I just want to get to my own authority sooner. It’s difficult coming into trucking not knowing the business sideGoneButNotForgotten Thanks this.

I thought it’s more money vs a W-2. I don’t know the difference and I’m confused with it allChinatown Thanks this.

I live in Dallas, you know any place that I can find a job that pays W-2?
