I drove for them for only 6 years out of Springfield Mass. Enjoyed my time there. Didnt know about any of this until now. Thought Walter was a good guy. Apparently not!![]()

I worked for G.O.D. For 10 years out of Rutland VT. Walter Riley was a great guy to work for. He used to invite us to lime rock race track in Connecticut. He was a driver for the NASCAR BUSH NORTH Circuit. Great times !

G.O.D. Went out right after USF Red Star in 2004,I worked at both companies in their main terminals . G.O.D. was originally called Seigals Express and was started by Walters father , their first terminal was on Fish House Rd. South Kearny,NJ. They outgrew that terminal and moved into the old "toys r us" terminal in port Newark. Once they moved in the Newark terminal Walter was hardly ever there, the 2 Irwin brothers practically ran the show until the end .They ran a " Hub and Spoke operation. NJ was their only terminal , every piece of freight in the system went through it ,then was "live" loaded for next day delivery.

Well, since this thread came up, I've noticed those trailers on the south side of I-78E from I-95 before you hit the bridge to Jersey City.
