Have any of you been to Kohler in Huntsville? The drop lot was a car parking lot, I wonder how long some of those curbs are going to last. I got in there with the tandem slid all the way forward, and was really glad I didn't have one of the newer trailers that don't do that.

Have not been there in awhile but it sucked previously so must be even more fun now. I had to have a spotter pull my loaded trailer out of its spot once because there was no way I could make the turn. Too tight no matter what I tried. Sick of B.S. places like that.

Once was enough for me, took probably an hour for me to drop my empty, and about 2 hours for them to find my loaded. Which was down the road in a gravel lot.

It will be. When that day comes I'll be gone, too.

I guess the issue of driver retention was mentioned in the last HTLD quarterly report. They really need to take some lessons from the Millis guys about this instead of the other way around. I know this is probably kind of petty, but I cannot trust a company that's so #### cheap that it won't even put catwalks on their trucks. I mean come on. Even bottom feeder companies like CR England stil have catwalks. "The lightweight fleet" Cowan trucks still have catwalks.

Weedsport shop closing. Benefits coordination being outsourced. Cheap ### trucks. So much for "Nothing will change.". It always changes. They're just doing it slowly enough this time where they're hoping that we don't notice.

I ain't ready to leave yet. In spite of what I just said, I'm still happy here for now. But it's just a matter of time.

Which Kohler place in Huntsville? There's 2. The one I always hated was the one on Cochran Rd. I've only been to the other one once and it wasn't too bad.

I was at the one on Diamond. First time I was there you checked in inside the warehouse and it was a little easier. I didn't think I'd be able to get into the drop lot without going over a curb, but I was able to. The local driver in a day cab waited for me to get in the lot and was able to drop and leave before I'd finished with my 3rd pull up.

Had to look it up, the one on Cochran road is the only one I have ever been too. I hate that place.
Went to Phillipsburg for the first time today, great run from MN to there, the worst part is the final 6 miles. Now on way back to MN, then I’m going to turn around and do it all over again. I’m pre planned for the week. I could really get into doing this full time.

I don't have much to compare here, but the Heartland employees I've seen are a heck of a lot happier than the Millis employees. I can't remember 1 Heartland employee complaining about work when I've seen them in the driver's lounge, and the Millis lounges seem to be just the opposite. And the Heartland facilities are pretty nice too.

I've only been there once, and it was to drop an empty and bobtail out. I'm loaded for Monroe Twp, NJ right now so I wouldn't be surprised if I go to Phillipsburg for my reload.

Last 5 days of driving. After tomorrow I will be limping to the finish line since my hours are shot.
