New Truck Stop. What do YOU want?

It has been mentioned, that maybe not paving the parking lot, there is a truck stop in Moses Lake washington, Ernies truckstop, the area where trucks park is gravel but the drive area around the parking area is paved, so that is an idea, also maybe like the Little America truckstop in wyoming, trucks only on one end of the lot and cars motor homes and uhauls on the other end of the lot, with a store and restaraunt for the truck side and then a store and restaraunt on the car side, keeps everyone happy, but PLEASE keep out the lot lizards, bums, fake jewelry sales as well as window repair,dope junky wheel polishers and other rif raf.

 

Oh and a deli with good sandwiches, wings hot dogs, salads and other deli food for those that want the food to take back out to their truck to eat.

 

If you want an example of a really good truck stop that would be a good model for just about any new stop,go take a look at the Dodge City Travel Plaza in Alabama. That is one of the cleanest well layed out and comfortable stops i have been to. The cleanliness of that place was very very surprising to me, i didnt know truck stops could be kept that nice. It was like that inside and out.

how about a weight room with treadmills that can hold up.You could charge a 1$ to get in or at least buy 5$ worth of products.Also a lighted track around truckstop would be nice.

 

Wow, I read "a $1 to get in" as "$15 a ton."

 

Honestly, all I need in a truck stop is a place to park, and maybe some decent food, fuel and a maybe a shower, I don't need anything big or fancy at all. I don't spend my time in truck stops and very rarely do anything other than park and sleep at a truck stop so TV rooms and exercise rooms won't be something I will ever use.

 

Dont hire or allow anyone else to hire anyone who has ever,..and I mean Evahhh,..worked at a Pilot or Loves,..Ban the use of tobacco on the premises, keep the counters clear of the Japanese pocket knives and decorator cigarette lighters,..dont need to sell them as there is no smoking anyway. I would like to be able to see the person taking my money, so keep the 5 hr energy away from the counter stacked up so high I cant see the person.

Dont water down the mustard and ketchup dispensers at the roller dog machine,..if I fuel there, let me have 7 to 10 days to redeem my shower, dont zap it in 48 hrs like the Ploves and Loveit does.

Get all the silly crap out of the ailse, I cant buy your stuff if I cant examine it without having to turn sideways everytime some ###### mommy takes her 4 darlings to the restroom.

Try to clean the showers on a schedule,..the other 2 mentioned fuelstops will only clean when they get a backup of drivers, clean them as they are used,..no waiting or at least minimal waiting.
