no ice in my area so far. Shelby county. Plenty of fluffy dry snow. Roads aren’t bad at all. Fingers crossed.
Was listening to Austin radio show earlier and it’s pandemonium down there with the weather lol.

Am in the yard at the moment, and seriously thinking about cleaning my truck out. It's snowing, and supposed to get into negative double digits. Really tired of this crap, and need someone willing to buy me a ticket...to like....say Tahiti!!!

I thought when I bought that beast last summer it was overkill but couldnt beat the price for the machine but it been a godsend this year .
Omaha only averages 31 inches of snow a year but I think we are at about twice that now .
They budget 9 million a year for snow removal on 5500 miles of streets and burned thru that about 3 weeks ago .

Funny how one gets used to cold temps .
Twas minus 5 this morning when I started blowing snow ( no wind ) with the heat on in the garage .
Did my neighbors driveway first and headed into the garage for a beer ...sweating .
Finished things up with a cap, gloves and a long sleeve carhart shirt .
9 below tonight and 18 below tmw night...20 below Monday night.
More snow on the way .
Truck in a heated shop for the weekend and heat on in the garage at home .

All the types of jobs I've ever done except one have been partially outside, 20 years ago cold never bothered me. The older I get the harder it gets to put up with, especially the last 9 years since the rheumatoid arthritis came on.

I enjoy running dry bulk like I have been the last few years but this last few weeks or so with the cold snap and unloading in close to zero degree crap has me wondering how long I have in it. A couple hours out in the cold now and my hands are pretty much ruined for most of the rest of the day.
