Man, that sounds like your getting a heck of a deal!
That savings would help pay for 6 new #58 injectors eh?:biggrin_25517:
If you should decide to order new ones, DDS gave me a single part #, which is for a "six pack" of reman injectors, which he said they seldom have; meaning they would sell you six new injectors at the reman price.
I looked through my pocket note pad, and found the info, I can read the stuff about the "six pack", and other notes I had made when talking to him, but after getting caught in a couple of heavy rain showers, I cannot read the part #. maybe someone will post it, if you are interested.

Local International dealer also Cat, but cheaper. They buy from local Cat house, and can sell cheaper.
Case in point, I recently priced Cat #8H7204, listed as primary filter group (fuel filter housing w/ permanent screen). Stopped by Cat, and got a price quote from snobby parts manager, then drove 1 mile to Int'l dealer, they were $31 (remember this price) cheaper, so I told parts guy to order it; (neither place had it in stock). Parts guy picks up phone and calls Cat to order it, guess who takes the order? yep; Mr. Snob...... Two days later, I'm back in town, Int'l guy calls to say part is in, I stop and they find that filter wasn't included in parts that were delivered to them from Cat; they were invoiced for it but someone "forgot" to send it. Also found out that there was an additional shipping charge of $32 (remember?) for a special order. I go to Cat myself to pick it up, and get to endure that smart ##### look the pm had on his face.
Int'l guy said he does that to them all the time. Real horses butt.

That sounds like a helava deal on the injectors. I;m getting all mine rebuilt at the same time . local guy here does them on the side. real resonable and sets them up as 6 matched injectors. He did my dads c-15 and that thing runs real smoooooth! About half of what cat charges for a reman.
Let you all know how she runs!

ok, i havent totally decided what to do yet, but this is what i got so far :)

muffler (which i need part number)
3 stage turbo (which i need part number)
    erase/reflash my c-15 mbm ecm to a c-16 6nz 600hp

what you smart peeps think of that?
    positives? negatives?

and readin here also see others talking about swapping cams and injectors.
should i? shouldnt i? how much time is involved in the cam and injectors?

    thanks

The difference is in duration and lobe separation angle, and the ramp rate in the case of the injector lobe. Unfortunately Cat do not publish any specs on these that I can find, the only way is to measure each cam. Unless somebody out there has a list of the specs or knows where to get the info from....?

Using the 201-2677, did the cam first, so i noticed the difference with the original setup, then changed to the B manifold, turbo, ecm came later. No dyno results, just road results, i'll be on the dyno soon.Idle is just a little off, most wouldn't notice.
