I’ve seen this movie before. Spoiler alert... the hero is to busy looking for a problem to be able to find a solution.

This is entertainment at its finest. @Ramo your thread(s) are a repeat. This has been discussed a bunch of times. Now the way you're talking, one would assume you're an inexperienced owner, that has infrequent good weeks. I wish folks would stop with this idea of "band together against the brokers." That won't work. That'll only succeed in making the megas or mega-ish. The loads will get moved some kind of way. Anyway, I agree with all of the members. The broker is correct, it's none of your business about what his dealings are with customers. Do you tell everyone about your finances? Doubt it. Even if the brokers were transparent, what makes you think they won't make up a BS number that they got for the load? I think you need to get over yourself driver. I'll continue munching on my popcorn here, extra butter.

Next time I’m at Ralph’s I’m going to demand they tell me how much margin they made off my dozen eggs. SMH. This guy is an all timer.

I am gonna ask a question on this matter, kinda. For us career long company drivers, for you owner operators that get ‘paid X% of what the load pays’,
how do you know what the load truly pays that you get a percentage of? Do you just trust the broker?bzinger, blairandgretchen and truckdriver31 Thank this. -

Why are you wasting your time with this? If the broker doesn't want to pay what you want, then you move on to a broker that does. Or you wait until the broker brings up his numbers to where you want to be. Brokers ALWAYS say thats all they have in it! We all know they are lying.... If the broker won't give you what you want, then politely say, thanks for your time and move on.bzinger Thanks this.
