Where am I? Well I'm glad you asked. I'm in New Mexico.

 

My Home state, I’ll be headed there soon for a visit just south of Albuquerque. Weather is definitely better on that side of states than what is going on other parts.

 

Just drove through Albuquerque a few hours ago. Yeah, weather is great. Meanwhile it's thunderstorms and cold in San Antonio, and snowing where I loaded in Junction. Looks like I outran it.

 

Where'd you load in Junction?

 

Sometimes ya gotta do, what ya gotta do in this business...

My truck broke down this morning while I'm sitting in the turning lane at a traffic light... Get it towed to the peterbilt dealership, hired the same towing company to come back with a bobtail, hook to my trailer, and take me to deliver my load... Talk about serving my customer!!!!

I dont know how long the truck will be down. So for me, this was the right thing to do... One less headache to deal with when ya are empty!!! Towing isn't cheap but it is what it is!!!

Pretty crazy how the receiver unloads these, as they have no dock.

 

Good on you man. Hopefully the breakdown isn't anything too crazy.

 

Im on the other side of that..ive been down all week , still under a load , dealing with a pissed off broker and with really bad weather between me and my delivery point 1500 miles away.. Supposed to be done by this afternoon...who the f knows anymore....
