Yea it's easy to learn just do a good job take your shoes off if your going to get inside the truck. It's easy just charge 5 dollars or less.

I clen trucks occasionally for friends because I do a great detail and it aint no sweep and window and armor all! I would KILL someone that put Armor All on a single surface of any truck! That #### builds up catches dust and is hard as heck to get off and when you use their cleaner then you HAVE to use more of the ####! If you have been using it take your finger nail and run it backwards across your dash and look at the groove you cut in it!
My last truck I got into some MORON thought that cleaning a truck meant to use an air nozzle and blow the dirt around and then dump a bottle of Armor ALL on the floor! It took me 45 minutes with my cleaner just to get it from around the drivers seat and path to the sleeper! But the truck look ed so much better when I finally got that mess off of every surface in the truck and it looked so much better! -
Try the local guys.
small local guys.
who has time to do all that?
To be honest I haven't even found one yet.
Just whacking down the big stuff (esp on dumps) would be a quick and easy way to make some cash.
Probably take 1/2 hour per truck.

Nothing that the streaking beacon couldn't of cleaned for $70.00 & 2 attempts!
It was the first time I used little sisters truck wash in Eloy, AZ. $108 & they missed more dirt then the beacon. I was not impressed with their work. -
BD, I checked on something for ya...... our outfit has a deal with a body shop we use to detail trucks for new drivers. They get $30 a pop for just a basic job (which is not all that good).
Suggestions: You can make yer own window cleaner cheaper than you can buy it. Water, a bit of dish soap and a touch of white vinegar. Newspaper works much better than paper towels. Oddly enough the Truck Paper you get at truckstops don't work good atall. Be careful of "commercial cleaners"; some of them are quite caustic on plastic dashes an such.
Those "Shamwow" things actually do work. You gotta wash em a couple of times first tho to get the "new" outa them.
Don't use "air fresheners" in the cab. Somebody will always object to whatever scent and some folks are allergic these days. Use "Odor Neutralizer" if you use anything.
Carry some "sandwich baggies". Put any "small stuff" you find (loose change, keys, screws, etc) in one of these and hand it to the driver when you're done. It's a nice "personal touch" and impresses how "honest you are".
And finally, just a personal idea. Get some of those "sticky note" pads. Write on em something like "You've been detailed by"... add yer name and cell phone number or other contact info.... and stick one on the dash when you're done. Cheap advertising and you'll be surprised how word will get around if you do a good job. -
Rollover what about that son of a gun stuff? The air nozzle helps and all. BD you know how to polish wheels?
-
I usually run my truck thru streakin beacon for $65.
Don't worry about slipping off a drivers wet hood, if he catchs you up there you'll get injured another way!

That's the truth. -
