What if it Snows?

Unfortunately the pool is down to 83 because of the rain we got last night.

Fresh bottle of Rum aged 99 Crimes to warm me up though.

Still a light breeze. I just shivered a little bit.

If not, no thanks. I have a wife and children to think about, (granted, they're all adults, but nevertheless.....).

 

Nope. I sold my house down here a couple years ago .

Dad had a house here with a pool , hottub minutes from the beach and the marina where he had the boat .

Dad always had the boat full of fuel and geared up for fishing. His pool was never below 92 in the winter because he hated the cold even though he would burn a grand in propane a month.

And always a couple thick ribeyes or filet mignons in the frig to throw on the grill.

35 years we Lived the Life.

Dad passed and my older sister from up north had scammed the trust while dad was not 100%.

She got it and peddled it.

Ex wife has a condo here and We’re still friends after 20 years of divorce.

She needs repairs and improvements done and she has a empty room for me.

My buddy has a 42 cruiser that he lives on down the road that we detonated a piston on last year so I will be up there soon tearing down the motor for repair.

I gotta do some work to stay warm.

 

Gotta head down to Vero Beach Florida tomorrow. Hopefully the black ice will be burned off?

 

There's 2" of snow on my hood in the last 45 minutes

I spent a lot of time in that area 45 years ago. My grand parents had a little 20 foot camper they lived in there during the winter when not up in grand haven Michigan.

My grandma lived to fish no matter where she was at. Did a ton of Surf fishing there back in the day.

I still like that area especially Cocoa Beach.

Naples - Fort Myers where I have been for 38 years is nice but getting way to crowded.

Naples is still beautiful and most of the people are also, never boring at the beach.

Fort Myers beach I used to hang at quite a bit is younger but a rougher looking crowd, still fun to hit all the little beach bars which don't exist in Naples but their only 30 minutes north.
