What have you got for rear suspension?
-
Thanks for the response.l have air suspension in the rear

Your center of gravity is getting too high. Be careful because you might lay it over.
mitrucker, haycarter, Doealex and 1 other person Thank this. -
Also, look at the wheelbase distance on your rig vs the amount of cantilever (overhang) both front and rear. Ideally you would load the higher center of gravity vehicles on the bottom if possible.
-
Also, make sure you keep the weight as far back as possible. It's quite likely the steer is overloaded, what your describing is exactly what happens with a stinger if you drop the trailer while loaded. A block to the shop was too far, it was like driving a boxcar.
justcarhaulin, Hulld, BigBob410 and 2 others Thank this. -
A 5500lbs suv over the front wheels will make any rollback unstable. (and over 14’ tall)
I can only load something under 3000lbs up there and I’ll still drive 45 or less -
Air ride isn't doing you any favours with high center of gravity loads.
-
Might be worth weighing each axle to see if your overloading a axle.

4 mid size + SUVs and a minivan, I'd suspect an overload. Scale it to be sure before someone else does it for you.
