Any Info On Ronnie Dowdy Inc

I've worked for them off and on since 1988. They are a good company to work for if you don't mind running hard. We haul chickens produce and frozen food and have some good accounts and customers. If you are looking for a fast truck this isn't the place for you, our trucks are governed at 65. Ronnie is the only person I have ever driven for that has not lied to me as much as 1 time. He might tell me that I'm not going to like what he has to say but he won't lie. I go home about every 2 weeks for 3 or 4 days and still make over 50k a year. The people in the office are layed back and tend to know every driver by first name. I would say give them a chance.

 

one thing the above left out is..you take the chances for them but they won't take no chance on you! To get anything even repairs approved takes for ever it took em two days to get me to a Freightliner in Florida when I had a broken bolt on my shackles and then had a bunch of head aches to boot! They treat local boys around town that drive for em really good but you come from away from town and your not treated that well! just be careful when going there its a long way to anything to get out of there!

 

They still have the same owners.
My husband is an L/P with them. Overall, we have been happy here for nearly 5 years.
