Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Look up concrete pipe companies. That is a specialized hauling gig. Find the company in your area and check to see who has the hauling contract.
My company hauls for Cretex and Rinker, but we are out here in the midwest and upper midwest. Look up leftruck dot com. -
Not really. Its according what type of material, miles, and brokers. Also all the lumber and brick loads that I have ran didn't pay s...t! If u want to make money haul steel or get a drop deck a haul off road equipment.
-
Good luck, I was just let go from a lumber business after 10 years of service. Economy and poor sales are plaguing the industry. CRST in my area pulls a lot of building materials. If you see anything, please let me know.

Pgt has a building product division
-
pos#2 try pro-fleet elkhart, In

Just tarp whatever you're hauling and pretend it's building materials.

Everyone and their sister has a drop deck these days. I even found a load that HAD to go on a RGN that payed a measly $1.40/mile.Coonass and notarps4me Thank this.
-
I think it may be the other way around today... LTL light loads seem to be paying more than full.
-
Where did you hear that????
I haul a lot of lightweight freight and It seem to pay WAY better than lumber, drywall and all of that bottom feeder freight.
Drywall is the worst paying freight that you can put on a flatbed and lumber is not much better!
