I like the 59. I like the back way out of Laredo heading west. I really enjoy missing San Antonio.

That's good road driver, running up 173 to Kerrville to bypass San Antonio on the west side, or US83 is nice as well. If you're governed though get ready to get blown off the road.

It’s true, Wife heard it on TV. Looks tchewy texture,
I’ve ran plenty of 2 lanes. Just surprised their 75 mph. They’re dangerous, espyat night, when the Driver coming at you is Drunk or asleep.

It was all good, till I got to a small Town, sign said 59 Truck Route next light. I followed the south route, probably should have went the other way, or took my chances through Town. Probably added 30 miles to trip, Hammered down aimlessly though the woods. Went through a town called Alice. Now I can say I’ve been to Alice Texas. Lol

I like 2 laning. There are some nice ones up in the meat patch. Though some will take you through small towns. Where you get slowed down to 35.

I think I’ll pull out my 20 yr old Atlas to plan my escape route. Scales were closed all the way from Detroit. I’d like to get out of here,Today, while their still closed. Spotted a Chase Bank and Walmart down the road. That’s all We need. Might be able to find a decent Mexican Dinner in this town.

I noticed that TA/Petro are going to start taking your earned points for fueling if you haven’t used them after (2) years. Since I got on LS for Dave I’ve earned a lot of points. I’ve got over $400 worth and so I figured I’d spend some.

Anyone have any thoughts on how I should use them? Here’s what I’m thinking, maybe.

    1. Pay for a PM
    2. Tire socks for an emergency. (I carry 8 chains). BTW tire chains are like hot dog buns. If you need 6 you should have 7, but they only come two to a bag.
    3. Another GPS. I can put them both on the window and then yell at the one that’s wrong.
    4. Wait and watch for a driver to buy a GPS, give him $5 and switch receipts. Return it for cash. Spend it on lottery tickets. Win $10,000 and blow it on hookers and blow. Get pulled over, lose my license, and have my wife divorce me. Rebound into a career as fry cook at McDonald’s. Work my way up to night manager. Get shot by a robber for the $58.00 in cash in the drawer.
    6. I’m not giving any of the points to any of you.

Yeah. Laredo was just fine. San Antonio was the crap show. I kid you not. The Love's at exit 144 had 3 fuel tankers. After they got power back. But the pumps were still running dry.
