Hey fellas. Changing my Napa 4070 coolant filter after putting in new coolant. Reason for new coolant was replacing the water pump and thermostats last week. Oil cooler also has a new thermostat. Been sitting a couple of weeks. I know for a fact the coolant shut-off is open (see pics of my scope) but when I took off the filter, I didn’t have any mass evacuation of coolant like everyone says. Just want to know if this is normal? Thank You!

No valve is probably bad. What type of coolant did you use?

Lucky if they valves last a year or two. Then they don't turn.

That's weird. The channels up inside the cooler look to be open. Even turning the valve with the filter off, I get nothing. Can just the valve itself be changed? I'm going to do an inframe anyway this summer and will do a flush with Restore. I've been using Durex Heavy Duty 50/50.

EDIT: Found my answer to changing the coolant valve in QuickServe.
