Favorite Brand of Flip Flops or Shower Shoes for Trucking

I buy mine from Walmart.
Shoes and boots too.

 

I never had any luck with Walmart shoes. Anymore, it's the only game in town these days. I don't think we even have a shoe store anywhere in the county. I've had luck with resale shops, ( selling used Walmart shoes) if you don't mind wearing shoes someone died in, hey, for $7 bucks, doesn't bother me,,,American made shoes are making a comeback, albeit, slowly. Pretty tough to compete with .17/hr. compared to $27/hr. here for workers.

 

i spent no large amounts of money for the flip-flops i used for the shower room.

i think Walgreens and CVS have them on sale come spring time. i musta bought 2 pairs, (under maybe $4.00 per pair) and only used one pair. only used when INSIDE the shower room, not walking on concrete or asphalt.

 

Doesn't matter what you wear as long as there is always something between your feet and the bathroom/ shower floor.

Heck..Nowadays I don't even take a sit down at the truckstop without protection..lol

Haha me too. Red Wings Irish setters. Getting time for a new pair, not sure what brand to get. I was expecting these to last longer than 2.5 years

 

I don’t wear thongs because I don’t want to deal with all the catcalls as I’m walking across the parking lot.

 

I prefer black flip flops with the three stripes...it matches my track suit and Volvo perfectly. Although, ever since I started wearing them and parking in the fuel island for my shower, I do get a lot of weird looks...
