Question for the more experienced folks. My left shoulder hurts like the dickens (right at the AC joint).Is this common on trucks without adjustable steering wheels and armrests?

now my friend it sounds like you have torn your rotator cup in your shoulder and yes it is common with a truck like that. you may require surgery to repair it depending on how bad the tear is and if its hurting that bad its a good bet your gonna need it it only get worse without the surgey.
ive been thru it with both shoulders and i dont mind telling you its not a fun thing and by god it even hurts.
but it aint nothing but a thing for a trucker. good luck to you my friend.-----southernpride

Thanks Southern. I already had a Mumfort on the right arm. For those who don't know, that's where they cut out an inch of collarbone and retie the muscles in the gap.... Took 1.5 years to get my arm back to 90 percent.

Could be anything from bursitis, to a partially torn biceps tendon. Best to check with the ortho doc to make sure.
Mine wound up being the partially torn biceps tendon, but it took an MRI to figure that out.
