How long were you out your first time during training?

8 Weeks for me,I when with werner and did my 275(at that time it was 275 hours).6 weeks with the trainers(only had 2),then after I got my own truck I was out for 2 weeks.I was going to do spilt training but figur get it out of the way.

 

I was out for 5 weeks, then routed back to the terminal for a drivers test (backing, etc.) After that it was 4 more weeks with the trainer.

 

I was out for 3 days and got my first truck solo for the run on Monday.

 

Hey Trekker if you would give us a update about your training from time to time I would be gratefull. I'm leaning toward May when I get done with school.

 

Good Luck, Always keep enough money on you to get back home. I was taugh by my Dad back in 76. We ran from Los Angeles to Salinas to load, then back to Hunts Point Market NY. I think the round back then took about 10 days to 2 weeks. Long Long Ago in a Land that seems far far away.
