Another Covenant Transport Warning

Too many drivers for the loads they have? Sounds like Swift! They have the same situation going, they pump out mewbies from their academies like rabbits popping out babies! Then they have the gaul to say that "freight is slow". Sure freight is slow when there's consistently more drivers than loads! Appears as tho covenant is no different than Swift.

 

-"If you are a trainer you do good at Covenant. Otherwise, start runnning!!!!!'

That's the truth told to me by a senior trainer when I was there. and also heard that Mr. Parker hasn't been running things as much at he used to. something about building a church somewhere in Africa but that was a year ago now. all the guyz about 6 of us that went with me from cdl school quit within 6 months of being there including me. If ya cant even pay ya bills its past time to go.

 

I knew it.....like you said "too good to be true". My X just started training at Covenant and is so excited. Bought the whole song and dance....great money, great benefits, caring company. I'm scared for him. He's been out of work for awhile and h3 really believes this job is going to change his life. Do I tell him??

 

How much do you really hate him???

 

This is an old thread, however, perhaps if he tries- he can make it. Not many jobs out there, and the holidays are near. Best of luck to you both.

 

You will not make it at Covenant. Give that idea up before you ever begin your descent.

 

For the most part, a job is what you make of it. Let him get his time in, get some experience, and then move on. No one has to make it a career at Covenant.
