After searching i came up with mixed results. Can a '04 MBN 475 have injector codes 5232 installed? I have had many guys say yes, while others say it will cause damage.

One other guy had it installed into his computer and didn't write down his old codes, now he wants it back but doesn't know how to get it there. lol.

Everybody had different opinions on the trim codes. Many have done it and have had no problems at all. Others claim it will run hotter on one cylinder then another and can cause damage. People have also claimed better power and mileage with an injector code change.

If you choose to do it which you could atleast try it then all you have to do is write down the old ones before you change it. If you forget to do that u just need to pull the valve covers to get them off the injectors although sometimes they can be hard to read from in there.

You'll get mixed answers from everyone on it. Personally i think if you drive the truck sensibly you'll enjoy the power and your not gonna hurt anything. Guys have been running around with them like that for ages now. I can't notice a rougher idle with them in one of our trucks and it has straight pipes

We put them in our 04 MBN and it seems to run a little better, it runs hot all the time anyway and didn't get any worse.

We put them in our 1LW and it seemed to make a bigger difference in power, never runs hot.

Both trucks 475, 5232 trim codes. The guys at Cat told me it was a bad idea to put them in the MBN right after I did it. I am going to take it up there and run it on the dyno in the next week or so and might take them back out. They looked at my engine print out from the computer and are telling me there is a different program for the MBN that would help it out. I am going to look into that too. I just want it to run a long time without breaking.
