Conestoga trailer lighting violations and citations question

    I'd say those lights are what is required. Does it have an annual inspection sticker? If this were a problem, it shouldn't have passed.

    Nope, that’s not what I’m thinking of. Look back at the pic I posted, and also look at Truckpaper and you’ll see most listed have lights exactly like what you’re complaining about. Again, you’re pulling a flatbed that had the roll top added to it. Since day one when those came out they’ve been afforded special provisions due to the tracking that is required on the rail of the trailer. Whatever you do, don’t get out your tape measure because you’ll find out you’re over 102” wide and you’ll never want to pull that trailer ever again.

    Actually they came out because a tarp was deemed ''safety equipment'' and is allowed legally to be sticking out 3 inches on each side.

    That being said I know of 1 that was 110 in. wide.
