Howdy Y'all,
I'm the son of a Preacher Man, whose lived all over this beautiful country.
I'm 20 years old, currently in the Navy. Out on deployment right now, and got two more years left in.
But I want to take my CDL school when I get back from deployment.
I'll probably move to Arkansas when I get out. And hopefully I can hit the road shortly after that.
I appreciate all the help and advice, and hopefully I'll see all y'all out on the road some day!

LOL... nice to meet you. -
MADMAX683: Spent over 20 do time with Uncle Sam's Canoe Club. Was a SEAL during the last 2 years of NAM, then a spook (CTI), then a Yeoman on MIDWAY (CVA-41), INDEPENDENCE (CV-62), GUARDFISH (SSN 612), and LOUISVILLE (SSN 724). Since leaving the sea life, I have been a college professor and high school teacher. Now... soon to be Trucker. I start training on 30NOV09 with Central Refrigerated. I'm not your dad, so no advice here. Times are tough out here. After I quit teaching high school after 5 years, I couldn't buy a job. Was unemployed for 2 1/2 years. I have a Master's Degree, and a #### load of experience in many different fields, yet I couldn't land a job. Right now, law enforcement, medical, and truck driving are just about the only avenues left to "really" find a job within a relatively short period of time. I did not choose trucking a a last resort, I've always loved to travel, and getting paid for it is even better. I hope the economy gets better before your EAOS. I'll keep in touch if you'd like, if not, well, good luck and I wish you all the best in "your future endeavors." Peace, Scott
