It shouldn't be super hard. Some places refer to it as leasing their authority. I know there's a guy on YouTube named Jeffrey Like who runs an operation kinda similar to that. Pay him like 15% to use his numbers, book your own loads off the public boards. Like Trucking is his company name. You might be able to find more of them here in the help wanted section of this forum too. And there's also the bigs with their own loadboards, such as USA Truck, Schneider, GreatWide, JB Hunt, Landstar and I think Roadrunner too.

    Ouch
I wonder if thats part of why they are so picky with you.
Do you notice it worse when you are trying to get a load out of florida and less when you are in a good market?

    Maybe I should rephrase
Do you have more trouble with the MC number when you are in florida?

That Truck probably doesn’t need as much work as you think. Brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, Waterpump, thermostats, new fluids, maybe new tires. Once it’s working maybe an alternator, starter, or fan. I would run it. See what you got. No need to reinvent the wheel, always time for improvement later, if desired. Should be a moneymaker, as is. Make it first, then decide. Just my 2 cents. Only one way to find out.
