I cross at Lewiston/Queenston bridge everyday. They've never mentioned anything about this app to us. I'm a US citizen and go to Toronto most days. Some CBSA officials ask us questions some don't.

 

Well shoot, I have to cross tomorrow by air through Calgary - the app asks for a code from the officer to deem I am essential.

I like the one where the person puts I don’t have a smartphone, my phone is an android. Yep. Your smart alright.

 

Yesterday I sat down to eat and you have to give your name and phone number. I've done this before so no problem. 10 minutes after I leave I get a call from a person representing the Canadian government. Their checking on people who cross to make sure their following the quarantine rules.

 

“A person representing the Canadian government”..........yea we’ve all heard that one before........click! Lol

 

Would be the same response when I hear the PM say "I speak for all Canadians"---- like F you do. Lmao
