thank you very much for the info. so you're out on the road for the whole week? no nights home or days home?? also i see they're hiring class b drivers. Should I even apply with just a class b or do you think they actually want someone with a class A too? thanks
Has anyone here worked for black horse carriers as a class b driver?

I went home at the end of each run. It started and finished in Chattanooga each day. The run was about 350 - 400 miles round trip with 5-7 stops (each stop took about 15 mins). And off every weekend too.
As far as applying with class B, I would go ahead and apply. Especially if they're advertising for class B drivers. I dont know what the account is in your area. Black Horse does all kinds of accounts, not just auto parts. -
well thats cool you're home. did it start to ware on you? i guess you found a better gig. and thats very cool that you have the keys to places. the ability to just be on your own sounds enticing

I just got burnt out on the overnight runs. I now work on the operations side of the trucking industry driving a desk, but I still have my CDL.

sounds good to me. thanks for the info. i was def having trouble finding info on this company

Overall, I would recommend Black Horse. They were good to me while I worked for them.

one more question. Is this company very strict on hiring people with accidents? I see they're asking if i had an accident in the last 5 years and I have. I don't even want to get my hopes up if they're gonna disqualify me.

If it's just one, you'll probably be fine.

Just FYI in case you have an opinion either way, Eby-Brown is a union job. Never met an unhappy driver of theirs.Chinatown Thanks this.
