    Hello,

    I might have little knowledge of VOLVO TRUCKS, any idea If the below CHASSIS number is for Model either FL, FE, FH, FM, etc.???

    MAKE VOLVO; MODEL; YV2J. CHASSIS NUMBER : YV2JHNC85AS98025.

    Can anyone share more lights on the Volvo Truck Models and how you can differentiate them using Chassis number?

    What year is this? Volvo truck, even older models starts with a # and a letter.

    I tried entering the Chassis ID (last 7 characters of the VIN) into Volvo Trucks Driver Guide and it did not recognize it. The "A" means that it was built in the Tuve, Sweden factory near Gothenburg, but I thought that the last 6 characters are always numbers - are you sure there is an "S" in the last 7 characters? I tried changing "S" for "8" and even "3", but the app did not recognize the resulting ChassisIDs. Now that I think of it, I think the app only supports trucks made after the major fleetwide facelifts that happened around 2012.
