:biggrin_25525:I've been trucking over fifty years during that time I've met lots of interesting characters, had more than a few escapades so I decided to put some of them into a book. I titled it "FIFTY YEARS OF TRUCKING FROM FLAT HEAD FORD TO LONG NOSE PETE" then I set up a website called truckertales. I'm not looking to get rich with it but would like to share some of my experiences. I've thoroughly enjoyed the business and still own one tractor, run it from Vancouver B.C. to the midwest. Have a driver on it for the winter - fed up with putting on those jingley things. I've run right across the continent from Vancouver to New Jersey and back to California plus hauled every commodity you could imagine with every engine and transmission setup ever invented. Trucking is and always will be as good as one makes it. Despite what one might read there are still lots of really great people out there and I'm proud to be associated with them. Keep the shiny side up kids.
