Authorized places to park your truck

shopping malls, gas stations, etc. but.............you'll be having a trailer too...........right......?? they won't be allowing you to bobtail all the way home...........

so, where ever you park the trailer........guess what...........you're parking the tractor.............

 

How safe an area do you live in? I know my co. will 'nail' a driver if truck is broken into or vandalized while supposedly parked in a 'safe place.' Is there any RV parking in your MHP? Some parks will charge..!

 

I would think if your only a mile from the truck stops they wouldnt care if you parked there, lots of people do that......ya just have to get someone to come pick you up and drop ya off when your ready to go.

 

Isn't that the 'infamous' TA brothel that was raided a while back. Could always rent it out to a pimp and make a few $$$ while on off time

I got permission from a Home Depot to park my full rig there when visiting parents, but said occasionally....parked out front to the side where well lit--no probs!

 

You are so bad...LOL!!! There are some private companies that will allow you to park on their property. When I drove for swift I paid $20 a month for a site that had a locked gate and serveliance camera because I was home every weekend.

 

Does it count that I drove for 4 years with DSW..!? No, the story I heard was bout a TA in OK City--right? Yeah, if you are just parking a tractor, local merchants may help ya out....make sure you let them know that you are LOCAL, not those nasty interstate truckers just passing thru, not buying anything, but just leaving pee bottles

 

Of course it counts....is that a self portrait...kinda scarey dude. There are alot of stories about truck stops..... It is best to have a place lined up to park your rig before you start for a company. ARound here alot of ppl park at the Big K.....
