Well you seem to have multiple problems. Sounds like it will be solved. The CAC is your fuel milage and manifold issue.

At 46, or 47 psi I had a stock CAC open up. Sounded like a hand grenade under the hood went off. Looked like it too.

We had to modify the holes on the bottom of the radiator from American. Had to slot them out a little. One of the bottom mounting nuts on passenger side was pretty hard to get a wrench on. Had to jam a prybar on it from the bottom, and tighten the bolt from the top. Takes 2 people. Just a heads up. Exact same Truck.

Hopefully this fixes all your issues. If the black smoke continues. Maybe the ecm has been changed . Pulse width on injectors set too long? Or a bad injector, dumping fuel? I don’t know much about it, but have heard of this being done. Truck runs very strong, till it blows up.

I think I got my issues sorted out. Got all the new parts installed, and test ran the truck. It smokes a little still but it's not rolling coal like it was. I haven't had a load behind it yet, but even just driving it bobtail it's not smoking like it did. Oil and coolant temps are lower also. Waiting for a new pyro and boost gauge before I pull anything so I can keep an eye on it. Again, thanks for everyones help and suggestions. I'll update this again when I pull a load with it

Finally got my truck out on the road Monday. Wichita,ks to Las Vegas, nv. After all the repairs, it ran awesome..78,000 gross, 5.5 mpg, coolant never got over 180° except on long pulls, egt never got over 1100°, 45 psi boost. I guess it's fixed..

    45lbs boost! I can’t get any more than 35. That’s great!

Just reading this over. Radiator $950 and over flow tank $200 correct.

Sounds like a heck of a deal on the radiator.

Sounds about right, I paid less than what the website said. I don't know if they gave me a discount because of everything I bought or what. Radiator, surge tank, bar and plate cac, 2 stainless coolant tubes, and ac condenser. Total was $2450.00 or right around there.
