Thanks for being so judgemental driver.

I know what OUT OF SERVICE and OUT OF SPECIFICATIONS are just never saw it as OOS.

I also know what a belly strap is. Why the hell do you think I posted that thread ? Obvious Rookie mistake. That is why I was asking Professionals for their... Opinions!

Have YOU ever made a mistake before ? ..... I didn't think so. You know it all.

To play devils advocate here, ive met some O/Os who should not be driving a truck god forbid owning one. On the flip side however most of us O/Os would rather park the truck and do a road call then risk that tire going boom. Thats a multi-thousand dollar repair waiting to happen at a MINIMUM.

Also playing devils advocate, the insistance and hostility of the OP to report this guy and towards anyone who wants more facts makes me a tad leery and wonder what he is not saying. While that tire is death waiting to happen, its all in one spot while the rest looks like its in ok shape. Its entirely posible something broke amd/or he hit something and the truck started acting funny so he pulled over asap and that tire had been destroyed. Perhaps he held the OP up or the damage caused him to do something stupid and caused road rage. Dont know. Not saying OP is wrong just his attitude and manner makes me leery of taking him at face value.

Lastly to the OP saying companys wouldnt let a tire go this bad.....ive seen some #### coming out of the cali ports that make this dude look safe and well maintained.

Go back and look at the pics. Metal threads are showing all around the edge of the tire. Pics are from different angles.

Look, I passed by this dude's truck in the fuel lanes walking in/out of the store. Saw it, got the dude's attention. Gave him the address/directions to that tire store and went back to work. Nothing more. Nothing less. Like I said, the driver acted oblivious but did state he was shut down for a week at that truck stop.

Why ? I have no idea. No idea why he was bob tailing either. Weird... He was having a real hard time getting his truck started hence the hood being up. I tried to help him a bit with it but I was on a time crunch and need to get back to my job. End of story.

I did all the damage is mostly around the outside band. Entirely posible something got wraped around his bumper and shredded it, or his steering system got broken and caused a ton of pressure for exaple. Towards the inside it looks like it has plenty of tred left.

Again not saying your wrong. I just take everything with a grain of salt and dont trust anyone i dont know well :p

The way this story keeps growing I somehow doubt this is the end.
My ratchet bar fell off my bed once. While parked at a shipper though.

Ok man I'll back off you seem legit. It just sounded strange that you did not know what OOS stood for and it appeared that you did not know what belly wrapping was (That would be BAD for a open decker!). I apologize.

Maybe the Huy didn’t even notice it. Should have at least pointed it out to him. Once while asking an O/O about his KDA Drives, after he bragged on them, I noticed one was out of round, showing steel half way around. He was shocked, hadn’t noticed it before then.
