Where am I? Oh yes, parked for the night near Vinita Oklahoma, heading towards Green Bay Wisconsin and then a preplan to Grand Rapids and Dearborn, MI.

This will make an interesting week:
DH from Fontana to Yuma - 99 in Colton
DH from Fontana to Phoenix - 99 in Green Bay
Green Bay to Grand Rapids to Dearborn.
    est 3200 miles this week.
(I have a post-it on the dash that says "don't get used to this")

I need to do laundry myself.
I got home and came down to FL. My linens, clothing etc is in a pile on the floor of my office.
I know that I should have a truck in town to run me back to columbus on Tuesday, but who knows. My dispatcher wants me back in a truck so bad he may make me get in one Monday evening.
I will be flying back to Buffalo and home by 1600 or so on Monday. So who knows what he will try.

Well things didn't work again for meeting Widow and 1Bad. Was crushed for time on my end but ended up where I want to be with the time I need + an extra hr. Guess I could have made it seeing them afterall.
I've always thought that Ok had some funky laws regarding beer but am beginning to think that this part of the country is even worse. Couldn't even get one with my meal at the resturaunt. Sigh.
Have fun in Chicago 1Bad. Welcome back to the road ChromDome. Bootlegger, congrats on the preplan. Wish I had one.

Jeez, for safety's sakes you take a nap and timing get's all messed up. Only way I can make the hours work is to shut her down in Bloomington, IL so I can truck thru Chicago in the midnight hours and hit Green Bay in the morning. Quite the grand adventure this is.

Yea, the 14 hour rule is a pain in the rear.
I can understand the concept behind it, and in concept I agree with it.
    The issue is in practice.
On most days it is not an issue. The problem is on pickup and delivery days. If you get held up the 14 hour rule can go a long way towards making you need to drive when you should not, due to fatigue.

Do central allow personal property on their trucks, like microwaves, crockpots, toaster ovens, refrigerators, and sallite television. Can you have their shop put in a inverter to run these items or is there a size limit to the inverters. Can any of the experience driverers out their help me with this info. If Central don't allow these items can you point me to a company that does? Thanks again. . .

Yes you can have these types of items on your truck. Central does perfer that they install your inverter they do charge I'm not positive on the fee I just know that there is one. I have never heard of a size limit but I am sure there is one. Most drivers do have tv, frig, some have mircowaves, toaster ovens, coffee pots you name it I'm sure someone has it on their truck. Hope that helps.:biggrin_25519:
