what gets me scratching my head, is that there are so many out there eager to squash anybodys idea of leasing a truck, will come up with a hundred reasons 'not to', but nobody has a good alternative. If leasing a truck thru the same company you need miles from to make said truck payment is so bad, then tell me who out there is hiring drivers with their own truck who has it financed thru a 3rd party?? You can't get a driving job with them till you have a truck, and no bank will finance a truck when you dont have a confirmed job....so its kind of a catch 22. I'm not about to go to a bank, ask for a $60k truck loan for 3 or 4 years, then struggle to find a company to work for. Companies can still be super picky who they hire cause there is real no boost in freight to justify hiring drivers like all the bottom feeders were doing a year or so ago.
so, everyone has reasons NOT to do something, how bout an idea for a solution??

I have a good memory. Plus when someone quotes someone all you have to do is click on it and it takes you to the original quote. You might want to do a little reading on this thread yourself. You have been given several options, but you seem to plan on arguing with everyone that has offered help. Like one poster said, why ask if you are going to argue???

You really are dumber than most aren't you? If you can't afford to pay cash for a truck or have good enough credit to buy one from a dealer how do you think you'll ever survive in this dog eat dog world? I know I know Swift loves you and would never do anything to cause you to fail.
Ok your right it doesn't happen to 100% of drivers that do it, but, it does happen to most. Let's say it does happen to YOU, what will you do if it does happen to YOU. Do you have a plan just in case it does happen to you? Will you have reserves to pay the payments while they try and starve you out right before it's paid for?
Sure they do because at that point you have bought them another company truck. Hell I'd let you buy my fleet a new truck too if I were them. You worked your ### off for THEM to have a new truck that somebody else ( YOU ) paid for! Sounds like a great deal. FOR THEM!
They'll laugh at you. Do you really think they would give you a real loan? Hell NO! why would they do that when they could let you LP from them and you will basically BUY them another Company Truck!
