February was a good month but got hit with a couple repair bills and maintenance so it ate up all the profit but at least I was still in the black. March is stacking up to look like a pretty good month

Finally got the money saved to get the curtains on my trailer replaced. Now just got to wait for them to be made. It will be nice not having holes patched up everywhere and having to jerk the curtain to open it in spots. Most the rollers are shot lol.

    dwells40 Thanks this.

So it looks as if you are going to keep that trailer for a bit longer

Yeah unfortunately the trailer is not giving me a choice. The curtains are falling apart pretty rapidly and I don't want to have two trailer payments for the next year.

Getting curtains replaced will definitely make it a lot easier.

Reading thru all comments here made me wonder how some of you could settle for $0.23/mile or even $0.32/mile. Back in 2014 when I first got my CDL, Mclane hired me with $1000/week guaranteed. Then after a month I was hired with FedEx Ground contractor and was paid $0.55/mile driving team and I did not know nor did I care how much my co-driver was making. We drove at least 6000 miles a week. Usually I brought home $1400 - $1500 a week. With that kind of pay it was not so hard for me to save up for my tractor and trailer down payment. I achieved it in 2 years.

dwells40, Crazytrucker77 and Bean Jr. Thank this.

Well march was a good month even though I am in the red this month. Only due to getting the curtains for my trailer.
