    I know of a bus company that operates buses for Pace based in Mount Prospect IL that is hiring drivers. It's not truck driving or the best pay in the world but it's better than running OTR and being always gone from home. IM me if you're interested and I'll give the company name, address, and phone number. The hiring guy is very friendly and hired me on the spot. You will need a passenger endorsement though.
