Company driver schools- quickest time otr

    I'm going to move back to Iowa to where I grew up and live with family so I can get a trucking job. Doing this gets me out of this land of no hire called Florida.

    My question is: What company trains their drivers in the shortest amount of time?

    For example: Watkins/Sheppard- 30 days training and you are on your own. No months with trainer otr.

    Im not sure on this but from what I understand, you are with the trainer until he/she feels you are comfortable and capable of driving on your own. Wether it be 30 days or 90 days you are there till they say you are ready.

    Whoa now, you moved from Mt. to Fl. and now you want to move to Ia.? I see TMC/Smx/CRST/Hirschbach/ in your future, unless you decide to move again, maybe, Ca.? Can you say" Support U-Haul"?

    Ya, I'm a nomad. We moved here a year ago to help my father. He passed away three weeks ago. I don't like Florida so leaving is no problem.

    Roehl is three weeks at their school, then about 21 days (give or take) with a trainer. If you went an approved school you can skip right to the trainer.
